Evan's new friend
This past week, Evan has been spending a lot of time with a new friend. Joshua lives just behind us and celebrated his fifth birthday last month.
Our neighborhood is turning into one with a growing number of kids. In addition to Joshua, we also have Riley behind our house, Madalynn and baby Ella to the right, Joshua #2 and Hannah on the left, and Esme and baby Guy across the street. Lots of playmates!
Family fun
This past weekend, Evan's grandpa and his friend, Lillamae, were in town. With seven kids It's not often that this many are able get together at one time. On Saturday, we managed to assemble five siblings, two spouses, and six grandchildren for a cookout at Evan's house.
The weather was perfect and the burgers were juicy. Fun, fun, fun.
Even Karma wanted to have her photo taken.

Happy Mother's Day
I'm not sure who enjoyed Mother's Day more -- Mom or the boys. Evan and his dad did allow me to use my deluxe foot spa first, but once they got their toes in it, I couldn't get them out.Evan especially liked the vibrating foot massage mode.
